God has called us to plant Spanish Baptist Churches here in the United States. We have been working in Templo Bautista de Yakima (Temple Baptist Church of Yakima), with Pastor Jose Ramos since October 2010. God called me to preach, and in 2003, burdened my heart to preach The Gospel in Spanish to people who cannot yet understand God's Word in English. Charlotte and I believe this is an urgent need and a great work to be done for the Honor and Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In 2003, the US Government officially recognized the Hispanic ethnic group as the #1 Minority in the US. The population was over 39 Million. That same summer, we were busy working in the bus ministry of Grace Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA. We had the privilege of bringing children of many different races in to hear The Gospel. It was our joy to lead many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Visitation to the homes of those newly saved was the next step to share Jesus with their families. What a blessing !! But, when we came to the homes of the Hispanic children, our hearts were broken!!! The parents didn't understand enough English and we couldn't speak enough Spanish to give them The Gospel of Jesus Christ. This happened over and over and over again. Our hearts were crushed! God showed me that I must preach the Gospel in Spanish and establish many Spanish Baptist Churches throughout the United States.

In early 2004, The Lord providentially moved us to Texas and put everything in place so we could be launched into this ministry. The Harvest Baptist Church in Edinburg, Texas has sent us out to plant churches according to Acts 13:1-4. Our Pastor is Dale Yontz.

The Word of God is the foundation for the ministry. Psalms 12:6 and 7 tell us, "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever." Many Hispanics are in spiritual bondage under the teachings of man-made religions. The pure Word of God preached in the Power of The Holy Spirit will open blind eyes to The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

According to the US Census Bureau, the Hispanic population in the United States is growing 1 Million, 400 thousand per year. Many Bible preaching Baptist Churches would love to start a Spanish Church through their church; but they don't have anyone to preach and teach in Spanish. We want to help Churches of like faith reach their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost part of the world. Through God's power, a church will be started using these old fashioned methods: Witnessing, door-knocking, leading people to Jesus Christ as their Saviour-followed by baptism, discipling, finding a place to meet, and organizing a Church. Once a Spanish Baptist Church is established, a Spanish speaking Pastor needs to be called to Pastor the Church. Then we will go to the next area God calls us to and start another Spanish Baptist Church.

We pray that God will lead you to allow us to become a part of your Missions Program. We earnestly desire to help you reach your "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria," and then the uttermost part of the earth. Spanish is a worldwide language. The Hispanics here in the United States represent Spanish speaking countries all around the world. Truly the Uttermost has come to US. Time is short before God's wrath is poured out on this world. Jesus spoke these words in John 9:4 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."
